Why We're Here
Mission
Accelerate the zero-knowledge revolution with the world's fastest proof generation
Impact
Bring truth and privacy to the Internet
Strategy
Combine cryptographic innovation with hardware-software co-design
Who We Are
We are Global
We are assembling the best people from all around the world to tackle this challenge. Most of our team works remotely between eastern American and European timezones, with regular opportunities for in-person collaboration.
We are Cross-Disciplinary
Building the world’s fastest cryptographic computing platform from the ground up requires cross-disciplinary expertise. Our team’s skills range from systems-level software programming and applied cryptography to digital logic design and datacenter architecture.
We are Optimists
We believe the Internet is a tremendous force for creating equality of opportunity in the world, but that it suffers from issues of misinformation and data harvesting. This belief drives our work to enhance the Internet with cryptographic computing, which will bring increased privacy and verifiability to our digital interactions.
We are Irreducible
We design and build systems end-to-end, from the high-level cryptographic algorithms down to the level of transistors. We reduce problems until we identify the simplest possible solutions, and we leave no stone unturned in our quest for optimal performance.
Leadership
Dr. Radi Cojbasic
Radi has been working on high performance hardware design for over a decade. He has accelerated V-NAND Flash SSDs with Samsung Electronics, financial data-center networks with Exablaze and radio communications with Jump Trading. Radi held senior engineering roles in the ASIC and FPGA design, both in startup and large tech companies. He has lived and worked in four continents—this global experience has shaped his leadership style. He holds a PhD and MSc in EE from EPFL (2014 and 2010) and BSc in EE from University of Belgrade (2008).
Chief Executive Officer
Jim Posen
Jim is a software engineer and cryptographer who has worked in the blockchain industry for the last decade. Jim started his career as an early engineer at Coinbase, where he was the Tech Lead on the Payments team, responsible for blockchain and banking integrations. He also established the Protocol team at Coinbase, and contributed to open-source projects serving Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the Lightning Network. Jim holds a BSE in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Duke University and an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University focused on applied cryptography.
