Irreducible Team
Irreducible and Polygon Labs are collaborating to build a production-grade, Binius-based ZK virtual machine for Polygon’s ecosystem of ZK rollups. The product of a research effort driven by Irreducible, Binius achieves best-in-class computational efficiency by applying the remarkable properties of binary fields to the problem of verifiable computing. Irreducible will offer order-of-magnitude improvements in proof generation time and cost by leveraging FPGA server clusters to unleash the full potential of its binary proof system. This is key to scaling blockchains in terms of throughput and access to liquidity and shared state, as well as realizing Polygon Labs’ vision for a ZK-based AggLayer. An original innovator in the web3 space, Polygon Labs is leading the charge to build a multi-chain ecosystem that feels like using a single chain. Driven by Irreducible’s low-cost, low-latency proving service, the AggLayer presents a scalable, permissionless, unified interface for the value layer of the Internet.
